Agusan del Norte yields new officers

New officers from the Ecclesiastical District of Agusan del Norte took their oath during the special gathering held through livestreaming on February 15, 2021.

Brother Ruel Zapata, district supervising minister, officiated at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Butuan City, which served as the host site.

The houses of worship of the Local Congregations of Las Nieves, Jabonga, Kitcharao, Cabadbaran, Buenavista, and Santiago served as remote sites where other Church officers attended.

In his homily, Brother Zapata emphasized the importance of Church duties given by the Lord God. Church officers should take care of and dedicate themselves in fulfilling these duties.

As Church members continue to increase in the district, new officers are needed to care for the brethren and help the Church Administration in the intensified works of the Church.

The Church officers said that they received spiritual strength that they will use in fulfilling their God-given duties. — With reports from INC News Section
