Kathy Griffin Calls Gina Carano a ‘Holocaust Denier’

Don’t mess with Gina Carano.

Yes, the action-movie starlet is a former MMA fighter, someone who elevated the sport during her career.

She also stood up to Hollywood’s mightiest studio without apology. Disney asked Carano, then a fan favorite for her work on the Disney+ series  “The Mandalorian,” to stop sharing unorthodox views on social media.

She declined.

Disney later fired Carano under dubious circumstances. The company misconstrued her plea for peace on social media for an anti-Jewish sentiment. Carano has worked solely in independent projects since the Disney dismissal, including “My Son Hunter” and The Daily Wire’s “Terror on the Prairie.”

Now, Carano is teaming with Elon Musk to sue Disney over the dismissal. The case is ongoing.

Could Carano ask her legal team to suit up again?

Far-Left comic Kathy Griffin gave a lengthy interview to The Hollywood Reporter this week. The wide-ranging chat touched on Griffin’s “cancellation” for posting an image of her holding Donald Trump’s bloody head aloft like an ISIS terrorist video.

Griffin’s career collapsed after the 2017 stunt. She apologized initially and then changed her mind. Now, she’s struggling to sell a stand-up special.

THR understandably asked about the Trump matter and the fallout. Griffin slammed Carano, without evidence, in her response.

“It does make me feel that, in Hollywood, I’m still canceled if I can’t make a deal for a special,” Griffin tells me once we’re off the plane, in a strained voice that’s only recognizable because of regular injections to her paralyzed vocal cord. Then, she amends her use of the C-word. “People tell me that the same thing happened to me and Gina Carano,” scoffs Griffin. “Please don’t liken Kathy Griffin taking a protest photo to a Holocaust denier [emphasis added]. I did not whip out my penis like Louis [C.K.]. I wasn’t canceled. I was investigated by the Department of Justice for something I don’t regret.”

Even Carano’s harshest critics haven’t framed that infamous social media post as Holocaust denial. Griffin just made it up.

Griffin is currently in legal trouble on an unrelated matter, according to THR.

After a 2021 video in which [Tennessee resident Samuel] Johnson appears to harass a teen boy for wearing a dress to prom went viral, Griffin reposted it and tagged Johnson’s employer. He lost his job and is suing Griffin for interference with his employment and infliction of emotional distress.

She also stared down a lawsuit from six Covington Catholic students after she shamed them on Twitter without knowing the facts behind the matter. The comic accepted the early media narrative about a D.C. confrontation and harassed the students on social media.

Griffin was cleared in the case.

Will the D-lister face another lawsuit moving forward?
