Social media had a field day with an attempt to woo male voters to Team Kamala.
Some assumed it was a parody video. Others howled at how the clip showed so little understanding of what makes a real man. Should Harris lose on Election Day, many will point to flop-sweat efforts like this as where the ticket collapsed.

The clip features actors portraying men tough enough to vote for a woman. It’s less than convincing and oh, so ripe for ridicule.
The video, created by former “Jimmy Kimmel Live” producer Jacob Reed, isn’t officially part of the Harris/Walz campaign. That likely was lost on people who watched it, knowing how eager Democrats are to wrest some male voters from Donald Trump.
Except late-night comedians let the ad come and go without a word. Why? They can’t make fun of their team. It’s that simple. They’re too busy raising funds for Democrats and spreading partisan talking points. That’s when they’re not lobbing softballs at progressive leaders.
The chances “Saturday Night Live” takes a swing at the spot hover between slim and none. The show has taken a few satirical swipes at the Harris/Walz ticket early in its 50th season, but this would be nigh impossible to imagine.
Other comedians aren’t bound by those artificial rules.
The team at Blaze TV’s “Normal World” just uncorked its manly man ad parody. It’s a grab bag of funny moments with a heaping helping of Village People references. Co-host Dave Landau, along with frequent guest Derek Richards, show two sides of the manly coin.
And it’s not appropriate for young viewers.
The sketch shows the power of YouTube in the modern era. The parody looks as slick as any “SNL” clip and it features professional comedians who understand how sketch comedy works.
Except The Babylon Bee beat them to the punch. Sort of.
The Bee’s spoof is much shorter and lacks the gloss of the “Normal World” bit. It’s still spot on and undercuts what Reed had in mind with his initial ad.
