The Sad Reason Kamala Harris Turned Down Joe Rogan

Vice President Kamala Harris has a problem.

She’s not connecting with enough male voters, and all the cringe-inducing ads won’t change that.

She got a lifeline of sorts in recent days, a way to reach a demographic that may decide her electoral fate.

It’s called “The Joe Rogan Experience.”

The podcast is considered by many as the biggest show in its space. Yes, “Call Me Daddy” and “Smartless” are nipping on its heels, but Rogan remains the podcasting king.

It gets better for Harris.

Rogan’s audience tilts heavily to men, the kind seemingly unsure of a Harris presidency. So naturally her team would jump at the chance to chat with Rogan mere days before Nov. 5, right?

Right?

Turns out that’s not the case.

President Donald Trump, in sharp contrast, will be taping his Rogan appearance sometime today.

Sounds like Rogan’s team tried to accommodate both campaigns out of a sense of fairness, but only one accepted the invitation. It’s a smart play for Trump on a few fronts.

He can lock down Rogan’s male-dominated audience with a strong performance. The pair can talk about how the Left favors censorship and cheered on social media giants booting him for their platforms.

The podcaster’s audience will eat that up. As well they should.

Plus, Trump is a stand-up comic at heart. “The Joe Rogan Experience” is the ultimate stop for funny people to crack wise and share their humanity.

When you’re being compared to Hitler that matters.

Why would Harris decline the invitation? It’s simple.

The more America sees her, the more her poll numbers shrink. She held a small but important lead over Trump in the weeks following her anointment.

Now, after she finally allowed herself to appear on various news shows and podcasts, those numbers are falling. Even Democratic operatives like David Axelrod are mocking her “word salad” answers.

Imagine listening to Harris for two or three hours? She can be brutal to endure via audio snippets alone.

Her meandering answers aren’t helping her campaign, either. Nor is the fact that she dodges tough questions at a critical time in the campaign.

  • Who is Kamala Harris?
  • Why should we trust her as the “change” agent many Americans crave?
  • How will she be different than President Joe Biden, whose policies have led to an open boarder, soaring crime rates and punishing inflation?

She can’t say. And it’s not for a lack of opportunities.

It’s why her team wisely turned down the Rogan opportunity. It would only hurt her campaign at this point. Trump could still botch his Rogan sit-down. He’s no stranger to stepping on rakes.

It’s more likely he’ll be charming, funny and willing to go wherever the conversation leads.

Harris can’t do that. Her team knows it. And, after Rogan’s fans hear the Trump episode, they’ll know it, too.
