Who wouldn’t want Tyler Fischer on their late-night show?
The actor and stand-up comic boasts a quick wit and can turn headlines into punchlines. He enlivened DailyWire+’s “Lady Ballers” and gave the platform’s “Terror on the Prairie” extra bite.
And few comedians deliver spot-on impressions quite like Fischer. His Dr. Fauci videos routinely go viral, and for good reason. It’s why he frequently drops by Fox News’ “Gutfeld!” to crack wise about the latest news.
Fischer delivers.
The bookers at “Kill Tony,” one of the biggest comedy podcasts around, agreed. The show welcomes the biggest names in comedy to crack wise alongside host Tony Hinchcliffe, including Joe Rogan, Shane Gillis and more.

Yet the folks at “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” can’t spare room on their broadcast couch for Fischer. And the comedian is willing to say why.
Fischer, speaking with The Hollywood in Toto Podcast, shared why he has yet to grace Kimmel’s stage. Or any traditional late-night showcase, for that matter.
His willingness to call out COVID-19 hypocrisies and misbehaving Democrats may be to blame.
“We don’t want you because of the things you say, you can’t joke about this,” Fischer said of the industry’s take on his talents.
He still sought out mainstream Hollywood earlier in his career.
“I’ve definitely tried to get on ‘The Tonight Show,’ Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel,” Fischer told the podcast. “Jimmy Kimmel’s booker said I can’t do impressions in my stand-up on the show because Jimmy’s friends with the celebrities and he might get upset.
“That’s actually what she said,” Fisher added. “Once you start adding these things up, I’m not really welcome there, which is fine. They’re welcome to book who they want … that’s how I ended up doing movies with The Daily Wire and working with FOX Nation. It wasn’t by choice, and I’m thrilled that they took me on.”
He’s carved out a successful career on his own terms. He’s currently touring the country when he’s not uncorking comedy videos on his YouTube and Instagram channels.

“I did a good 10 years of trying to get through the classic methods of making it as a comedian and an actor,” he said, adding he’s done reaching out to old-school Hollywood.
New media outlets are happy to have him.
