What Celebrity Will Be Red-Pilled Next?

Whitney Cummings has not been red-pilled. She said so herself.

She just scorched the Democrats on CNN of all places during its New Year’s Eve coverage. Later, she doubled down via her podcast.

And she wasn’t done.

She just excoriated California Democrats for their role in the raging west coast wildfires.

That’s not how your average Hollywood celebrity acts. At least not until recently.

The term “red pilled” comes from the 1999 film “The Matrix.” The Keanu Reeves blockbuster showed people waking up the real world, not the false narratives peddled by the elites.

In real-life, it means liberals who wise up to the media’s false progressive narratives. Cummings knows the phrase’s context and insists it doesn’t apply to her. The casual observer might disagree.

Chances are comedian Jim Gaffigan would also reject the label.

Still, the PG-rated comic is backpedaling, to a degree, from his hard-Left posturing. He lamented how his raging anti-Trump rhetoric alienated him from some fans. He also blasted his fellow progressives for refusing to critique their own during the recent presidential campaign.

(His brutal impression of Gov. Tim Walz helped seal the leader’s fate as a feckless “knucklehead”)

Would Gaffigan have embraced such a hard-hitting impression prior to 2024?

Others seem more open to their red-pilled transformation. “Shazam!” alum Zachary Levi endorsed Donald Trump late last year, a move he dubbed “career suicide.”

Post-election, Sylvester Stallone did the same, abandoning decades of political neutrality.

They followed a path blazed by center or center-left personalities like Rob Schneider, Dr. Drew Pinsky, Justine Bateman and Jillian Michaels, among others.

What’s going on? And will the raging California fires red-pill more progressive stars?

Stars are watching their homes and neighborhoods disappear under a blanket of fire. While late-night comics protect the Democrats who lord over the state, celebrities are waking up to their ineffective leadership.

It’s impossible to deny and even harder to ignore.

Some stars are clinging to the progressive script, including director Jim Jarmusch and Barbra Streisand. Many others will likely look at their Democratic leaders with a new, withering glance.

It’ll get worse sooner than later, says Adam Carolla.

The podcast superstar knows all about California red tape and how it hampers home construction projects. Now, imagine a phalanx of stars trying to rebuild their lives and getting snagged in said tape for months, if not years.

Carolla predicts California could even shift to the Right as a result. That’s unlikely for now, but he suggests we’ll see more red-pilled stars.

Hopefully, they’ll punish the politicians responsible at the ballot box and seek leaders with better policies.
