With their earnest desire to fulfill God’s will to make His truths known, Church members from the Isabela East Ecclesiastical District conducted a three-day series of online evangelical missions.

To further reach a wider audience, most especially in the far-flung areas in the province of Isabela, Philippines, where most residents are Ilocanos, their native language, Iluko, was used in preaching the words of God.

“It is a great help especially to those who are residing in the remote areas for them to better understand God’s teachings that we uphold in the Church Of Christ,” Brother Joel Datoon, district Light of Salvation overseer, explained. “This only shows that even in this time of pandemic, we are not being hindered to intensify the works of propagation.”

Brother Gil Caberto, district supervising minister, preached the biblical lesson on the true way of attaining the grace of salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ on February 15, 2021.

The following day, February 16, and on the last day, February 19, Brother James Garan, a minister of the gospel, and Brother Aser Pader, district auditor, respectively, led the study of God’s words.

Their preaching of the pure gospel, done at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Cauayan City, reached 65 remote sites through livestreaming. Most of these remote sites were houses of worship and the rest were brethren’s homes designated for this purpose.

A number of brethren who participated said their guests were grateful to witness the virtual evangelistic event hearing the preaching of God’s words in their own language.

“I am very happy that the biblical teachings I listened to was in the Ilocano language. I can easily relate and understand what is being taught to us,” said Merlita Valdez, one of the guests.” — With reports from INC News Section
